Sleepy Sunday – 29 April 2018
So…. everything seems to have settled down nicely after the FMT, which is good and my digestive process generally seems a lot calmer and there is definitely less bloating and discomfort. Whether there has been any improvement with regard to my MS is harder to judge at this stage but it is still early days. I am continuing to have my unpasteurised sauerkraut daily…
I had the stitches removed yesterday from the Rhizolysis treatment and everything seems to be healing nicely. I have done quite a lot of standing today and I feel quite good so I am quite positive about the outcome of that too.
I am REALLY tired today, I have slept well both nights this weekend but I think I had a bit of catching up to do. I just hope I sleep well tonight. Traditionally Sunday nights are not good for me – I don’t know why, really. I have nothing to fret about really as all my lesson prep is done for tomorrow, but I imagine that I will find something in the small hours to worry about…
I’ve been doing some snooping about of other MS bloggers and have been quite taken with Wheelchair Kamikaze. This guy writes so eloquently and truthfully and his most recent article ‘An Uncomfortable Truth: No $ In Cures, Says Goldman Sachs‘ about the fact that drug companies don’t benefit from developing cures, only by developing drugs that manage symptoms, is real food for thought… Essentially, there is no commercial benefit for drug companies in fixing people. A sad truth. His entry entitled ‘I Miss Me‘ also really resonates… Well worth a visit if you have the time.
