Possibly the oddest thing I have done yet….

And I seem to be prepared to do a lot of things in the name of trying to make myself better. This time last year, I was making a 200 mile round trip each day for the FMT poo therapy, Can’t believe that was a year ago. Or that it was a waste of time because of the state of my teeth. Which brings me neatly onto the latest bizarre thing I am doing for the sake of my teeth and undoing toxic dentistry.

I saw Dr Helena yesterday. The tooth on my upper jaw that we have been trying to save has continued to be super sensitive and ache periodically and to be honest I am done with it, and just want the bloody thing out. It turns out that the roots of said tooth extend up into my sinus membrane (as do many of my other teeth) which is possibly why my teeth are such a nuisance. Dr Helena is not prepared to give up on the offending tooth yet though, so that is why I am breaking open tiny brown, glass vials, removing the contents with a syringe and putting it into water which I have to sip throughout the day, holding it under my tongue for a minute at a time. This I have to intersperse with the original VULPUR drops that I was taking previously. Not within 15 minutes of each other though. Good job I am not working this week!

I was so baffled by the instructions and the kit that I didn’t really ask much about it at the time but with the help of the internet I have identified that it seems to be some sort of antibiotic homeopathic remedy used to treat congestion and dental infections. I am also pretty keen to get the teeth that were extracted replaced so I don’t have to keep chewing on the side with the problematic tooth. I need to have a scan before that can happen to ensure there is no more infection in my mouth. That should happen in the next couple of weeks….

In other news…,

  • my back continues to play up
  • I now have femoral nerve pain down my leg when walking which is exhausting. (Ron the acupuncturist is trying very hard to fix this for me.)
  • I have done something to me left knee which is particularly irritating as that is my ‘good’ side which means that when I lose stability and need my left side to step in and correct the issue, my knee really hurts.
  • I am pretty wobbly at the moment generally due to extreme tiredness and the fall out of the emotional trauma of my mum’s condition. (although she is doing well on the slow road to recovery, bless her) .

Thanks goodness I have a 3 week Easter holiday to rest up, that’s all I can say.

On a positive note, I have found another reasonably local ‘BeActivated‘ practitioner who is aligned to an established physio practice so will hopefully be a bit more professional… She is also cheaper! Seeing her next Monday so will update then.
