The Poo Diaries – FMT Day 5 – 9 April 2018
So…. I drove to the poo clinic and back today. It actually wasn’t too bad… about a 7 hour round trip but I do get to come home. If I can get a reasonable last minute deal on a hotel tomorrow, I may stay over… We will see.
Nothing remarkable to report about the transplantation itself today but Annie and I did have a good chat about heavy metal toxicity and I have a lot of reading and research to do in this area as I think this is something I would like to look into. I have a few names as starting points (Wendy Myers, Dr Shade, Dr Klinghardt).
My attention has also been caught by a book I found in the waiting room: ‘Toxic Dentistry Exposed – The link between Dentistry and Chronic Disease’ by Drs Graeme and Lilian Munro-Hall.
I have 2 amalgam fillings (one of which is a root filling) and I have always been suspicious of them. I once had to have an amalgam filling drilled out about 10 years ago and I couldn’t feel my legs for 2 weeks after. Also, my tooth that is root filled is often tender and sore even though it is apparently dead and I shouldn’t be able to feel anything at all. Worth looking into, I think.
I haven’t finished reading the book in its entirety but I have read enough to know that it is an area of interest that I would like to persue further. So I have been in touch with the Munro Hall Clinic in Bedford and I have a rather lengthy registration form to complete. An initial consultation is £155. It is something that I will certainly consider…
I am over halfway through the FMT now. BIG YAY! I like the feeling of this milestone. Only 4 more treatments to go. Too early to tell if it’s making a difference just yet. FMT is not a ‘quick fix’ but as ever, I am hopeful.
